Roto-Mill™ RM-6
3 or 4 Track Cold Planers
CMI's newest generation of Roto-Mills are designed with a modular concept so that the RM-6 can be configured as a three or four track machine depending upon the customers operational preference, while large access doors allow easy inspection, adjustment and repair.
Roto-Mills feature a unique cutter housing geometery to quickly discharge liberated materials onto high capacity discharge and truck loading conveyors, the RM-6 on-board 675hp Tier 4 Final powerplant is mounted behind the fuel tanks at the optimum location close to the cutter for more stability and less vibration.

Conveyor Components
Catenary style suspended idlers with rubber impact rings provide for easy maintenance over fixed idler designs.

Our modular control system design approach using common parts provides redundancy, reduces spares requirements and allows us to easily add additional functions and control options.

Easy Maintenance
Centralised lubrication points make regular maintainence simple while all engine fluids fill/check locations are easily reached via walkways and oil filters are easily accessible from the ground.

Easy Troubleshooting
Multiple lower level screens identify the location of problems and provide simple “smart” status codes to allow for easy maintenance and troubleshooting.
